I have been offering a private general counselling service in Hertfordshire since year 2000. My qualifications include a Post-graduate Diploma in Counselling from the University of Hertfordshire and a further Diploma in Working with Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse from the University of Middlesex. In addition I continue to update my knowledge with regular attendance at specialist training venues in line with the BACP requirement for continiung profesional development.
In addition, I have extensive experience of working with addictive behaviour groups whilst working in local voluntary addictions agencies.
I see clients with a wide range of life difficulties. My approach to the work is Person-centred.
In additon to counselling clients I currently hold a lecturer post training counselling students on a foundation degree in counselling.
I also offer clinical supervision to practicing therapists and a range of training workshops.
I am a full member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and the British Association for the Person-Centered Approach (BAPCA).
Full public liability insurance is held.
Sue Holland
I have worked as a Counsellor for the past ten years in both private practice and within an addictions clinic. I also trained as a Hypnotherapist and gained my Diploma in 2006.
I am a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register and abide by its code of ethics, regularly attending training workshops as part of my continued professional development.
My theoretical approach to therapy is Person-Centred.
